Vitalzyme 450 provides the enzymes needed for each of the millions of biochemical reactions that make life possible. Without enzymes, life could not exist. Systemic enzyme therapy utilizes enzyme supplementation to increase the enzymes throughout the body to assist in restoring the body to health.

Invest in your health and save in your wallet with this top performing product. Why Systemic Enzymes

As you may know, enzymes are the essential building blocks of life. They are key to the body’s ability to properly digest and benefit from the food we eat, and they provide the energy we use to rebuild muscles, cells, nerves, tissue, bone, and glands. As such, these enzymes spark the chemical reactions responsible for breathing, digestion, growth, reproduction, and most other body functions.

Dr. Max Wolf, M.D., who researched enzymes and hormones at Columbia University from the 1930's through the 1960's, determined that enzyme production diminishes in humans after age 27. While humans have historically supplemented their enzyme levels by consuming fresh, raw foods, modern preservation and preparation techniques often destroy the enzymes these foods contain. Combined, these conditions create an enzyme deficiency that causes our bodies and normal body functions to break down.

What does this mean? It means we must supplement our diets with systemic enzymes – those that offer system-wide benefits – just as we supplement the vitamins, minerals, and herbs that are essential for good health.

Serrapeptase

Also known as Serratia peptidase; a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the non-pathogenic enterobacteria Serratia E15. Serrapeptase has been shown to be one of the most fibrinolytic enzymes available today.

Protease

Any enzyme that catalyzes the splitting of proteins into smaller peptide fractions and amino acids by a process known as proteolysis.

Bromelain

An enzyme found in pineapples that breaks down other proteins, such as collagen.

Papain

A proteolytic enzyme obtained from unripe papaya.

Amylase

Any of a group of proteins found in saliva and pancreatic juice and parts of plants, Amylase digests carbohydrates and helps convert starch to sugar.

Lipase

Lipase digests fat. It is an enzyme secreted in the digestive tract that catalyzes the breakdown of fats into individual fatty acids that can be absorbed into the bloodstream.

Amla

Amla is the richest source of Vitamin C. It also contains tannic acid, glucose, protein, cellulose and calcium. Amla is considered to have restorative and preventive properties.

Rutin

One of the many existing flavonoids. Flavonoids support health by strengthening capillaries and other connective tissue.
